Two Great Runs At SweetSprings, Mo.

The LMF Motorsports team ran a two day show this past weekend at Sweetsprings Raceway in Missouri. Friday night Laney ran two classes. The A-Class and Non-wing. 98 cars signed in Friday night with 32 in non-wing and 24 in A-class. Laney finish 4 in the heat race and led all but the last 3 laps in Non-wing. The cars was fast and the racing was AWESOME!. In the A-class Laney finished 3rd in the heat race and would end up 5th in the feature.

Saturday night was awesome. Laney only ran Non-wing. He started 6th in the heat and drove to 4th for the final transfer spot. Laney found himself starting 14th in feature and by lap 12 he was running 2nd. Laney treid for several laps to get around Koch for the lead. At two different points Laney had Kock side ways in three and four. On the last lap Laney had Kock side ways and they would go by the flag stand side bi side with Koch beating Laney by inch’s.

The LMF Motorsports will be running Saturday night in Indianola, IA. Please come join the team and cheer Laney on to a victory. The LMF Motorpsorts Team will be debuing a new car if all goes well. If not you will see old blue.

Great Run At SSMC Came Up Short

Laney started 8th in his Non -wing heat race and would finish 6th securing a spot in the A main. He would find himself starting 14th in the A Main. Laney worked his way up to 6th place and while passing for 5th was pinched into the turn three burm and finding himselfturned around. Laney has had two GREAT runs at Sweet Spring, MO. this year but has been turned around by the same person both weeks. Laney would end up restarting the race 23rd and fighting his way up to 8th with two laps to go and looping the car. Laney would again restart in the back and end up 15th. The LMF Motorsports Team will again be running in SSMC this Friday and Saturday night. Please come out and cheer Laney on! Laney is keeping his chin up knowing he has a great car and can win real soon.

Great Showing In First Run In 2012 At SSMC!

The LMF Motorsports team rolled up to the pit gate Saturday night and Laney asked his dad if he could run two classes. Laney strapped in for the Non-Wing and A class Saturday night and was the car to beat! In the non-wing heat race Laney rolled across the line a half a lap ahead of 2nd place and had a respectable 4th place finish in the A class heat. Laney started 7th in the non-wing feature and was a rocket. He made move’s that I quote from mom ( It made me proud or made me want to pee my pants). Laney was passing for 3rd when 5th place decided to punt Laney into the infield. Laney would make his way back up to 12th out of 25cars. Laney would start 10th in A-class and run 12th as the car just got tight and was hard to handle. Laney would end up running a total of 100 laps Saturday night. The LMF Motorsports Team will be heading to Brooklyn Iowa for a two day show Friday and Saturday night. See you at the races!

Mother Nature Wins In Indianola!

Well the 8L Team was pumped up about racing in Indianola. Mother Nature had other plans. The team made there way to the track got everything unloaded and they watched it rain. The team will be heading down to SweetSprings, Missouri to try there luck with the weather. They will be running wing and Non-wing next weekend. Let’s pray they get to race!
